Organization Structure

China Communications and Transportation Association (CCTA), founded in 1982, is a national, industrial, non-profit social organization with legal person status. Approved by the former State Development Planning Commission, it was co-founded by sectors and entities including transportation, railway, civil aviation, postal services, and military transportation, and voluntarily formed by enterprises, institutions, and individuals engaged in transportation, logistics, and related fields. As a comprehensive transportation association, CCTA adheres to the tenet of the "Four Services" — serving the country, the industry, enterprises, and society. It plays the role of a bridge, link, and advisory assistant between the government and enterprises, with the core objective of promoting the development of China's transportation and modern logistics industry. Currently, CCTA has more than 3,000 members.

Shandong Port Group Co., Ltd. (SPG) is a key provincial-level state-owned backbone enterprise. Founded on August 6, 2019, it is headquartered in Qingdao, Shandong. Logistics Times Weekly is a national-level core journal in the logistics industry sponsored by the National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC) and organized by the China Communications and Transportation Association (CCTA). Since its founding in 2003, it has adhered to the editorial philosophy of "a high-quality journal, industry authorities, and far-reaching influence." Through diversified services including converged media communication, brand promotion, online and offline exhibition/conference activities, logistics public opinion monitoring, and compilation/release of industry reports, it has built a resource integration service platform for the entire industrial chain of transportation and logistics across multiple fields such as policy guidance, concept leadership, institutional innovation, industrial promotion, and domestic-foreign cooperation. With a single-issue circulation of 80,000 copies and over 390,000 followers on its WeChat official account, the journal reaches over 10 million monthly readers through channels including free distribution to government authorities, postal subscriptions, industry-specific channels in commercial and logistics sectors, and high-speed EMU trains. Its readership covers fields such as logistics, shipping, manufacturing, wholesale and retail, insurance and finance, and consulting services, providing authoritative, insightful, forward-looking, and practical information for industry professionals.

In 2012, the China Communications and Transportation Association jointly initiated the establishment of the China Logistics City Alliance (CLCA) with 41 cities nationwide, formulating core objectives including strengthening logistics collaboration and communication among cities, facilitating investment promotion, advancing the digitalization and greening of the logistics industry, and realizing the transformation and upgrading of logistics formats. In April 2018, with the official approval of CCTA, the Urban Logistics Branch of China Communications and Transportation Association (CCTA-ULB) was established on the basis of CLCA to enhance the standardized development of the organization. Since its founding, the Branch has fully exerted the role of a bridge and link as a social organization, conducting solid work in areas such as member visits, research and consulting, investment promotion, data services, exhibition and exchange activities, and media promotion. Over the years, through organizing events including the China Urban Logistics and Supply Chain Conference, the China Logistics Journey Across Ten Thousand Miles activity, and the China Logistics Lecture Series, it has successfully introduced hundreds of well-known enterprises to settle in the alliance's member cities. Currently, it serves 113 cities.

Logistics Investment and Financing Branch of the China Communications and Transportation Association (CCTA) was established on November 10, 2010. It is a non-profit, open-type industry cooperation organization jointly initiated by the China Communications and Transportation Association (CCTA) in collaboration with domestic and foreign financial institutions, investment banks, venture capital (VC) firms, private equity (PE) firms, securities companies, law firms, accounting firms, industry associations in the investment and financing sector, investment and financing consulting institutions, financing enterprises, and other relevant institutions, with voluntary participation.

Shandong Provincial Logistics and Transportation Association is a non-profit social organization co-founded by representative transportation, railway, aviation, postal, key industrial and logistics enterprises as well as other relevant organizations. It provides industry services and conducts industry management. The association has an Expert Committee composed of more than 80 renowned domestic experts, along with 10 Professional Committees covering areas such as comprehensive transportation, logistics parks, logistics finance, logistics equipment, cold chain logistics, e-commerce logistics, logistics standardization, hazardous chemicals logistics, logistics education, and insurance services.The association serves as the liaison unit for the Joint Conference on Modern Logistics Work of Shandong Province and the enterprise contact point for administrative law enforcement supervision in Shandong Province.
